We can charge any EV that still turns on. If yours is completely dead, call us and tell us the make and model. We are adding the equipment to wake dead cars, and we will tell you straight away whether we can help yours yet.

We come out on a set day for people who have nowhere to charge at home, top cars up at work, and run standing visits for dealership lots, apartment properties, corporate campuses and fleets. 09 · Why it looks like this

Why we built it this way

We looked hard at how other mobile charging companies work before building ours. Most are a phone number and a promise. We wanted the whole rescue to be something you can see: our service vehicle on a map, the charge in your battery, the price on a receipt that explains itself. So we built our own quoting engine that prices from your actual situation, a payment system that only settles once the work is done, and a live view we would want for our own cars. It took longer to build. We think stranded people deserve it.

Built by an EV owner

RESQVOLT is owned and run by an EV driver. Every part of this service gets tested on the owner’s own car first, on the same charger a customer’s car will use. The prices are explained to the penny because that is what we would want as customers.

RESQVOLT is a founding-stage service run by its owner, and we tell you our real hours instead of promising around-the-clock coverage we can’t stand behind yet. Emergency dispatch currently runs from Thursday at 10 in the morning straight through Saturday night. You can send a request or book a scheduled visit at any hour of any day. We take it up the moment service opens, and your card is never charged until a quote is approved and the work is done.

Where we go

We’re based in Joplin, Missouri, and we work across four states: Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. Standard service reaches about 150 miles from Joplin, and we quote trips out to about 200 miles, with a clearly labeled long-distance line for the farthest ones. Past 200 miles we don’t auto-quote: reach out and we’ll look at it person to person. Every mile is priced before you book, so the number you approve is the number you pay. Every rescue countsReturn customers earn rewards toward future visits. They’re added automatically, with no separate signup.

Share some with STEM, if you want toSTEM is science, technology, engineering and math education for local kids: school robotics clubs, coding classes, maker programs in our four-state area. On any job, emergency or contract, you’ll be able to send part of your rewards their way with one toggle. It’s never required. It’s something we support, and we make it easy to join in.

Nothing to take on faithEvery reward and donation will run on Solana’s public, tamper-proof record-keeping, so you’ll be able to check it yourself instead of trusting our word.

In the building phaseWe’re building this right now, planned for a future rollout.

12 · Paying it forward

Why we support STEM education

We fix cars with electricity and code. We would like more local kids to get the chance to learn how that works.

What STEM isScience, technology, engineering and math. In practice it is a school robotics club, a coding class, a maker space with a soldering iron and a 3D printer, a kid taking apart a motor to see what makes it turn.

Why it matters herePlenty of kids in the four-state area never get near that stuff. Rural schools and low-income neighborhoods often have no club and no lab, and nobody nearby who does this for a living to ask. The interest is there. The access usually is not.

Why usThis whole company runs on batteries, inverters, charging curves and software written by hand. The next technician, or the person who builds a better service vehicle than ours, is in one of those classrooms right now.

How you can join inWhen the rewards program launches, one toggle sends part of your rewards to a local STEM program, on any job, emergency or contract. It is never required. If you turn it on, the record is public, so you can see it landed.
